The word that sums up this week is: wood. Chopping, cutting, making, and burning wood 🪵.
A top moment for me was quiet family time in front of the fire 🔥 on Sunday. Maybe also spending a bit of the morning cutting up downed branches with my young son and a saw & hatchet 🪓. Something I’m looking forward to next week is more time in front of the fireplace.

🧠 Understanding: More reading of Essentialism. Lots of food for thought but I am going to try and carve out more ‘thinking time’.
🧶 Creating & cultivating: Trying meditation a little bit. Cultivating a more … sane calendar at work. Built an outdoor log store 🔨.
📺 Consuming: Old SNL clips 😆. I am enjoying dipping into a Wheel of Time read-through podcast. Has some good insights I missed as I went along.
🔆 Connecting: Some family time on the weekend.

🏹 One thing for future self: I can probably justify a 30 min ‘thinking’ time slot at work: definitely not on Mondays or Fridays.
